Kling 3.0, 3.0 Omni, 3.0 Turbo, O1, 2.6 and 2.5 Turbo Compared

Six Kling video models side by side: per-second prices, what audio and reference videos add, lengths, 4K, and which references each one accepts.

A model in a chrome dress stands on a rooftop at golden hour as pieces of red fabric fly toward her, a frame from a Kling 3.0 Omni clip.

Castaly has six Kling video models: Kling 3.0, 3.0 Omni, 3.0 Turbo, O1, 2.6 and 2.5 Turbo. The names suggest a simple ladder, but they do not line up that way. Turbo is not the cheap option, Omni and O1 take the most references, and only two of the six render 4K.

This guide compares all six on price, length, audio and references, so you can pick one before you spend anything.

How the models differ

Kling 3.0: the all-rounder

Kling 3.0 covers the widest range: 720p to 4K, 3 to 15 seconds, and optional audio. With one reference image and one reference video it does motion control: the character from the image performs the movement from the video. It can also start from a first frame, or a first and a last frame.

Kling 3.0 Omni and Kling O1: many references

Omni and O1 accept up to seven references in one request, mixing images and elements with up to one reference video. That is the choice when a shot needs several characters or props to stay recognisable. Omni adds 4K, 15-second clips and up to six storyboard shots. O1 stops at 1080p and 10 seconds and does not do multi-shot. On both, audio has to be off when a reference video is attached.

Kling 3.0 Turbo: simple inputs, higher rate

Turbo takes a prompt, or a prompt with a first frame, and nothing else. It has no audio switch and stops at 1080p, but supports prompts written as up to six shots. Choose it when you like its results for a shot, not to save money.

kling-3.0-turbo · 5 s · 1080p · 16:9 — estimated $0.64 at today's price.

Kling 2.6 and 2.5 Turbo: the budget pair

Both render 5 or 10 seconds at half the 3.0 family's 720p rate. Kling 2.6 adds native audio at 1080p and the same motion control as Kling 3.0. Kling 2.5 Turbo is text-to-video or first frame only, with no audio.

Which Kling to use

  • Cheapest usable clip: Kling 2.5 Turbo or 2.6 at 720p, $0.19 for 5 seconds.
  • Cheapest 1080p with sound: Kling O1, whose audio switch adds nothing: $0.51 for 5 seconds, against $0.64 on Kling 2.6 or 3.0 Omni and $0.76 on Kling 3.0.
  • 4K: Kling 3.0 or 3.0 Omni at $0.3822 a second.
  • Several consistent characters or props: Kling 3.0 Omni, or O1 if 1080p and 10 seconds are enough.
  • Copy a movement onto a character: Kling 3.0, or Kling 2.6 for less.
